(GST) announced today the availability of a new line of computer products specifically created for the Tradeshow and Interior Design markets. The Custom Edge ™ Series are state-of-the-art computers with a wide range of custom colors and finishes to match any interior décor, logo, and exhibit theme.

"These products are vibrantly colored monitors, mice, keyboards and IBM-compatible computers that design houses are excited to see," said Stephen Monteros, General Manager at GST. "We've taken the 'likeable' colors of the Apple iMac and made them better with a wider variety of colors and richer, deeper finishes."

GST has teamed with Skyline Displays to provide these products to the tradeshow industry. In a patented process, GST will PANTONE® match any color request to go with the overall design color scheme of a booth or interior. Then a high gloss finish is added to provide more vividness to the richly colored products. The high gloss finish also provides protection; scratches can be polished out, making the Custom Edge computer maintain its appearance show after show, season after season. "Our colors are surface applied, not injected into the plastic like the trend in the computer industry today." Monteros added, "injected plastic is a dull, lusterless finish and can only be produced in large quantities. Our process produces richer colors and we can do them in any quantity, from single units to several dozen." In addition, logos, custom graphics and textures, like marbling, can be applied.

The computers and peripherals selected in the Custom Edge Series are from such reputable manufacturers as Viewsonic, Microsoft, Logitech, and GST's own line of award winning Pentium based PC's. The complete process, from purchase to finished product takes 3-4 weeks, with slightly longer lead times for quantities larger than 10.
